Today's funny expression of the moment is 'contribution pollution',... which is actually an overarching category of other specific words (and actions) whereby someone will present ill defined ideas either in the wrong context or will misuse concepts completely in their attempted contribution (either out of ignorance or just from their own desire to listen to themselves talk), leading to a complete disruption of the actual topic at hand, or (at the very least) some quizzical looks and mild confusion on the part of onlookers.
